Planning continues for the show down between New Zealands top two men’s squash players who will be playing each other in Ohakune on Wednesday 29th June. Martin Knight won the Wellington Open title last month with silver medal doubles partner Joel King ironically taking the women’s title. Meanwhile Campbell Grayson will be returning from winning his third PSA title in the US$10,000 Goiania Open in Brazil early last month. The 25-year-old Aucklander had to acclimatize to the altitude before the start of the tournament (900 metres above sea level). He then moved on to Guatemala (1800 meters above sea level) where he reached the quarter finals of the US$15,000 IV Toreneo Sport 2011 International but was defeated by Mexico’s Cesar Salazar.

Grayson did play interclub once for Ohakune several years ago against Taihape whilst visiting. The Ohakune division one side is due to play Taihape again on the 29th and rumour has it he might just be used again.
